Aroma
Hot lemon, clove, candied orange
Palate
Honeyed citrus, soft warmth, bright acidity
Finish
Long, spiced, comforting
When to Serve
When the weather turns. After a winter walk, with a cold coming on, or as a fireside nightcap. Real-orange Orange Liqueur replaces the sugar that propped up old hot toddies — the citrus stays bright and the drink comes out warming rather than cloying.
