The Story +
Armagnac is France's oldest distilled spirit. Where cognac is blended for consistency, Armagnac is estate-bottled: single producer, single region, single character.
Ours comes from a third-generation family chateau in Gascony. Blanche is Armagnac before the barrel. Unaged, clear, and honest.
Distilled from 100% Folle Blanche grapes in a traditional handmade Alambic still, without sulphite addition. Everything Elusa makes starts here.

Pair With
Blanche isn't only a cocktail base. Served chilled and neat, it earns its place on the table — alongside the food it grew up next to in Gascony.
With Oysters
Chilled neat, served in a small tulip glass alongside a half-dozen rock oysters with a wedge of lemon. Blanche cuts the brine the way Muscadet does — its bright fruit lifts the salinity and resets the palate between each oyster. The textbook French aperitif.
With Charcuterie
A board of saucisson sec, jambon de Bayonne, aged Comté and a slice of Roquefort. Pour Blanche cool — not cold — and let the floral fruit play against the salt and fat. Closer to a fortified wine pairing than a spirit one. End the table with a final small pour.

Tasty, authentic, moreish and overall a delicious white Armagnac. I found it complex, rich and incredibly fruity. We are enjoying it neat at the moment but we will try some cocktails with it this weekend I am sure!
