The Story +
The orange is Spanish Lanelate navel, selected for aromatic zest, not juice yield. Fine zest, zero white pith, infused directly in Blanche Armagnac.
Restrained spice: clove, star anise, cinnamon and vanilla, each pulled at its own moment so none of them shouts. Then cold crashed for clarity.
Cointreau uses neutral grain spirit. We use Armagnac. The difference is in every sip.

Everyone I served it to loved it and immediately wanted to know what it was and where I'd got it. Lots of 'you have to try this' as it was passed around! Bright, fresh and beautifully balanced. We enjoyed it with English sparkling wine on Christmas Day and it was perfect.
