Tasting Notes

Aroma

Bright citrus, orange peel, warm Armagnac

Palate

Dry, layered, tart and orange-forward

Finish

Long, spirituous, with gentle Gascon warmth

When to Serve

Pre-dinner. A Sidecar is one of the great pre-Prohibition cocktails — dry, spirituous, unapologetically citrus. Built entirely on Elusa: Blanche Armagnac in place of the usual Cognac, Orange Liqueur in place of the Cointreau. Real peel oils, Gascon depth, no neutral-spirit shortcut. The result is richer, rounder, and more brandy-forward than the standard template.
