with Elusa Coffee Liqueur
White Russian
Three ingredients. Big, creamy, undeniable.
Ingredients
- 50ml Elusa Coffee Liqueur
- 50ml vodka
- 30ml double cream
- Cubed ice
Method
- 1
Fill: Drop a generous handful of cubed ice into a rocks glass.
- 2
Pour: Add the Coffee Liqueur and vodka. Give it the briefest stir.
- 3
Float: Slowly pour the cream over the back of a spoon so it settles in a pale layer on top.
- 4
Serve: Hand over with a small swizzle stick — let the drinker decide when to combine.
Tasting Notes
Aroma
Cold espresso, sweet cream, faint vanilla
Palate
Silky, low-sweet, espresso-led, no syrupy edge
Finish
Cream lingers; coffee returns underneath
When to Serve
Late evening, after dinner, on the sofa. The trick of the White Russian is making the coffee taste like coffee — Elusa Coffee Liqueur is built on cold brew, so you get espresso depth without the syrupy sweetness that ruins most versions.
